NB In its natural form, talc may contain asbestos. However, Canadian law requires, since 1973, as consumer products containing talc (body powders, face and baby) are free of asbestos.
* Being frequently exposed to air pollution. The air pollution is responsible for 5% of all deaths from cancer of the trachea, bronchus and lungs. The particles from burning coal, oil, natural gas and the incineration of garbage are damage. Read the rest of this entry »

One of the more traditional treatments for cancer has been the use of chemicals produced by the body’s immune system against cancer cells. Among the most common are interferon and interleukin-2. While they are most effective treatments for other cancers, have had limited success in the treatment of mesothelioma. Recently, however, researchers found that the introduction of interleukin-2 directly into the zone between the lungs and ribs could slow tumor growth. There are several ongoing clinical trials.

Heat therapy
Clinical trials have shown that mesothelioma cells are more susceptible to cancer drugs that are heated to temperatures above 109 degrees. Read the rest of this entry »
